Wedding professionals hanging in the photobooth

Last weekend, I had a chance to connect with some really great wedding professionals at the New Leaf Restaurant in Fort Tryon Park, New York.   This is a great place for an intimate wedding in NYC with beautiful views of the Hudson River inside a public park in NYC.   Another reason I love this place: all net proceeds from the New Leaf Restaurant support the New York Restoration Project, a non-profit organization founded by Bette Midler in 1995 to restore parks, community gardens and open space in underserved communities throughout New York City.   Two new friends I connected with at the event:

Laurie Rhodes - award-winning photographer (center) specializing in wedding photo journalism - http://laurierhodes.com

Mona Dehghan - Wedding DJ and founder of Mon Amie Records (right), a tiny record label based out of Greenpoint, Brooklyn that spends all their extra hours and dollars helping deserving artists reach deserving ears.http://www.monamierecords.com/
